Week of March 12th

Hello all,


6th grade: No spiral this week. We are continuing in Chapter 7. 


7th grade: Spiral due tomorrow, Tuesday, March 13th at the beginning of class. There are two questions that have two possible correct answers- so I will accept either one! Also, mental math acceptable for 3 of the problems, # 1, 8, 9. In order to receive credit for the other problems you must show your steps. Calculators acceptable if steps are shown.


We are continuing with a few sections from chapter 8, you will not be tested on this. We will start with Chapter 9 next at the end of this week, time permitting. You will be tested on material from this chapter, date TBA.


No tests this week!

Week of March 5th

Hello all,

3rd nine weeks is wrapping up!

6th grade: Spiral due Tuesday. Test this Friday on Chapter 7, sections 1 - 3. Review sheet goes home tomorrow. You must know integer rules!!! This is the last major grade of the nine weeks.

7th grade: Spiral due Tuesday morning during homeroom due to library field trip. Chapter 8 test (sections 1 - 4) Friday. This is the last major grade of the nine weeks! Make it count. Review sheets went out last week.

Help session Thursday and Friday only this week, faculty meeting Wednesday.

Week of February 27th

The week ahead:

6th grade: We are continuing in Chapter 7. No quizzes or tests this week. Next quiz date is TBA. Spiral due Tuesday 2/28. Signed tests and (optional) test corrections due Tuesday 2/28. Remember that you must re-work each missed problem and also write a complete sentence explaining why you missed the problem.

7th grade: We are starting Chapter 8 Monday. No quizzes or tests this week, next test date is TBA. Signed tests were due last Friday. If you did not return signed test Friday it is due tomorrow. Test corrections (optional) and spiral due Tuesday 2/28.

After I have checked for signature students may keep test. Test corrections due Tuesday after Mardi Gras. 


This is a 100 point test, grade in rectangle is recorded out of 100. Many awesome grades on this- way to go! Some of our hardest material

Reminder- 6th grade has a test this Friday, 2/10, on Ch. 6. Review and format sheets went home Wednesday.
