7th grade review problems for Monday's quiz

Hi everyone,

I encourage EVERY 7th grade student to work these problems as a review for Monday's quiz! These are from the texbook, and I am writing the answers below.

1.) pg. 287 # 1 - 6 all
2.) pg. 310 # 1 - 9 all

pg. 287       1) x = 7    2) x = 6     3) x = 4     4) n = 1/2
5) m = -3.85        6) v = 1  7/9 (mixed number)

pg. 310      1) z = (-2/3)     2) m = -22     3) r = 24      4) b = (- 4)
5) a = (-15)     6) x = 21       7) n = 25     8) r = 3       9) w = (-1/5)

Use the review sheet! Remember, I am out of yellow paper, so it is regular white paper. You will also have several problems from the last test (no more than 6), writing decimals as fractions, fractions as decimals, and adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing mixed numbers and decimals.

How can you prepare for this test? Working problems!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Reminder- class materials

Just a reminder: ALL STUDENTS should bring these items to class daily:

1.) workbook (should remain in binder. It's a pink slip if students do not have this in class).
2.) loose-leaf paper
3.) any homework assignments, spirals, etc.
**Spirals should remain in folder as well. If someone checks them over before you turn them in, that is great (and encouraged!), but they should be left in your binder so you can work on them during any free time.
4.) calculator
5.) sharpened pencils
