Week of March 26th

Hi everyone,


6th grade- test Tuesday, Spiral due Tuesday, new spiral passed out 3/27 and due T. 4/10. This is the day we return from Easter, try to get it turned in before the holiday!
After Tuesday's test we are moving on to Chapter 8.


7th grade- We are starting with Chapter 10 this week, we have finished in Chapter 9. Spiral due Tuesday 3/27, new spiral goes home that day, and is due T. 4/10. This is the day we return from Easter, try to get it turned in before the holiday!

7th grade test has been moved to MONDAY March 26th. It will cover the same information- refer to review sheet that was passed out Monday.

Week of March 19th

Hi everyone,

I hope you enjoyed this beautiful weather over the weekend! 


Only two weeks until Easter break, so let's work hard.


6th grade: New spiral will go home Tuesday, due following Tuesday. This is a different format, it is multiple choice as I want you to get some practice with this before Terra Nova. Your test is scheduled for this Wednesday, but I am hoping to move it to Friday. I'll announce it in class tomorrow after I have checked the test calendar. It will cover Chapter 7 Sections 2, 3, 4, 6. 


7th grade: We are continuing in Chapter 9. Test at end of this week or beginning of next, I'll announce tomorrow. Test will cover Chapter 9 Sec. 1 - 4. Spiral passed out Tuesday, due following Tuesday. This will be another multiple choice spiral to prepare you for the Terra Nova.

Week of March 12th

Hello all,


6th grade: No spiral this week. We are continuing in Chapter 7. 


7th grade: Spiral due tomorrow, Tuesday, March 13th at the beginning of class. There are two questions that have two possible correct answers- so I will accept either one! Also, mental math acceptable for 3 of the problems, # 1, 8, 9. In order to receive credit for the other problems you must show your steps. Calculators acceptable if steps are shown.


We are continuing with a few sections from chapter 8, you will not be tested on this. We will start with Chapter 9 next at the end of this week, time permitting. You will be tested on material from this chapter, date TBA.


No tests this week!

Week of March 5th

Hello all,

3rd nine weeks is wrapping up!

6th grade: Spiral due Tuesday. Test this Friday on Chapter 7, sections 1 - 3. Review sheet goes home tomorrow. You must know integer rules!!! This is the last major grade of the nine weeks.

7th grade: Spiral due Tuesday morning during homeroom due to library field trip. Chapter 8 test (sections 1 - 4) Friday. This is the last major grade of the nine weeks! Make it count. Review sheets went out last week.

Help session Thursday and Friday only this week, faculty meeting Wednesday.
