7th grade Test Review Sheet

7th grade review sheets were passed out at the end of the day. Several students did not get their sheet, they can pick it up in class tomorrow. Review below.

       A. Use a variable expression to evaluate problems (ex. 1 pg. 15)

          B. Evaluate variable expression (ex. 2 pg. 16)

          C. Translate variable expressions (ex. 4 pg. 16)

II. 1.5 Equations and Solutions pg. 28

          A. Use metal math to solve equations (ex. 1 pg. 28)

          B. Check solutions of equations (ex. 2 pg. 29)

          C. Write equations (ex. 3 pg. 29)

III. 1.6 Variables in Familiar Formulas pg. 33

A.   MUST MEMORIZE AND APPLY area, perimeter, and distance formulas. The formulas will not be provided on the test .

Square: A = s2, P = 4s       Rectangle: A = lw, P = 2l + 2w   Distance: D = rt

B.   Find perimeter and area of squares and rectangles when given side length (ex. 1 pg. 33).

C.    Find side length of a square when given area or perimeter (ex. 2 pg. 34)
